ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH, TEMUKA.
TO THK BDITOR. Sir, —I mu*t/i£ you will allow me, thank you for your truthful descripi ion. in to-dayhr paper of the late addition and improvement* to the above most beautiful Church. I read it with great pleasure, as I saw it on Sunday last with my husband, who expressed a wish to look over the Church. You may be sure I said I would show it to him with pleasure after we returned from the funeral. Indeed it is lovely. The ten angels and the statues are lovely, and so earnest the one with the words “ My Son, give me thy heart.” I had not been in the Church for a long time, and I noticed the addition at once Dear Father Fauvel surely cannot make any more improvements. He is a wonderful gentleman. His heart is full ot love for the Church. God bless him, and may ho live long to enjoy his labors. I also was touched to see the two dear Sister* at prayers. It touched me immensely. 1 thought, what a holy place. I felt myself as nothing. 1 wished it a thousand times I
was half as good as those dear Sisters—so faithful, so true. I cannot express my thoughts while I was there when I saw the ten adoring angels looking down on the altar. I prayed God they would protect me also. —I am, etc., Margaret Annie Clark. Geraldine, Sept. 4th, 1888.
