OSMAN DIGNA.
Cairo, September 22. The Egyptian Government will send reinforcements to Suakim. September 23.
A British gunboat and a battalion of Egyptian forces have been ordered to Suakim to prevent the advance of Osman Digna. The rebels, wbo number 1000 strong, are engaged in shelling tbe town, An Italian gunboat which was stationed at Massowab has gone to Suakim to assist the garrison there.
