ENGLISH MARKETS.
London, September 22. The English wheat market is unsettled, and prices are irregular. The Continental market is declining, and American is also changing for the worse. . Australian wheat, ex warehouse, 40a; New Zealand longberried, 41s. For forwa d shipments buyers offer 38s 6d. New Zealand hemp, £26 15s to £27 per ton. September 24. At the wool auctions to-day bidding was more animated, and 12,000 bales were disposed of. Merinos and greasy sorts show an advance of |d on last closing rates. Scoured wool has advanced from |d to Id. Coarse crossbreds are slightly cheaper.
