William Leeson Tipson, arrested at Oamaru on Tuesday, was brought up at the Police Court on Wednesday, charged with stealing five £5 notes and four £1 notes, the property of Lawrence Ford, of Thornbury, Southland, 0.1 31st January last. Accused was remanded to Invercargill.
