The Stella left Wellington for Terawhiti yesterday morning to bring away tome ten tone of itone which are Co be tested at Melbourne. The Hona. Gh F. Richardson and Gr. Fisher, and some others took advantage of the trip to inspect the mines. Several business men leave Invercargill for Melbourne to-day (Batucday), in connection with the movement to form a Company to buy up all the Southland sawmills. It is understood a majority of the millers favor the soheme.
