THE DEATH OF MR SEDDON.
Referring to tbe drowning of Mr Seddon, the Sydney Bulletin says : "It appears that he went with his feet strapped into the stretcher in his own boots, instead of being inserted naked into big shoes strappod to the stretcher Ho had not beeu in an outrigger for some tirup, and was out of practice, so lost timo at tbe start, and Stoddart and Anderson got away from him, He started to spurt after them, and not sitting I»is boat well, and she being cranky, he drove her undrr. A little girl, who sow (be capsiza, says thai his feet stuck in the straps, and when he struck oat he actually towed the boat after him, and, of course, was dragged under and drowned. His feet must have-slipped out during his death struggles, and lie raust also have tnsd to loosen the straps aoder water, for <hey were found JMWii'y unbuckled when the boat was recovered. What a fearful struggle for life his must have been."
