AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
GEBA.LDINE. Messrs J. Mundell and Co, report sales for the week ending Eriday, 31st August, 1888, a 3 follows : At their yards, Geraldine, on Wednesday, they held a sale of draught and hackney horses. The entry was but a medium one, and the demand for all classes of stock was better than on previous sales, i here being four buyers for export present, and for any horses up to their standard satisfactory prices were obtained. The total yarded was 32 head. The following prices were] realised during the sale, viz.:-—Draughts, broken and unbroken, £l7 to £l2; light, harness horses, £9 10« to £9; hackneys, £6 10a to£s. ; \We have sold privately during the week to Mr E. Timaru Rhodes, the 3-year-old Clydesdale colt Bony Brest Knot, by Young Banker—Princess Koyal, bred by Mr E. Matthews, Temuka; the famous breeder of Clydesdales, the price being a satisfactory one. We consider this horse is the coming champion of the show ring- ,_
