Mr Chamberlain, speaking at Birmingham, said that he never for an instant regretted bis support of tho Irish Crimes Bill, If Mr Gladstone eyr succeeded in making his Home Rule scheme law, he would have to face a civil war, for Ulster would never submit to tho control of a Parliament sitting in Dublin, July 30. Two agrarian murders have been committed at Listowel and Kanlurk. Tho victims of the murders at Listowel and Kanturk were two boycotted farmers. The murderers were masked and escaped, notwithstanding that the crime was committed in broad daylight. Mr Mantor, of Sligo, has been sentenced to four months’ imprisonment for publishing boycotting notices in his newspaper.
