Melbourne. July 26. Tbe Colonial Treasurer delivered bis Financial Statement last night. The estimated:revenue for tbe yaar-bas been exceeded by £600,000 ; the expenditure for tbe same period had decreased £140,000 leaving A balance to carry forward of £837,000. The estimated revenue for the next year is £7,792,000. Tho Government propose to distribute lunatics through the country in asylums on tbe cottage system.
