At Temuka on MONDAY, July 30 h, the Volunteer Drillshed, which is beim' specially floored as a Rink, will bo Formally Opened, on which occasion there will be a Handicap Mile Race for Foot- ‘ bailers. General Skating, exclusive of the time for the Race, will be from 8 till 10 p.m,, after which there will be a t BALL. Tickets (doub'e), 6s, Skates included. Excellent Music. Refreshments provided. Fancy Dresses permissible. Competitors in the Race to appear in Recognised Costume.
