Auckland July 20. ; The dispute which h»s existed for some time past b.-tvreen two sections of the Njspuhi tribe at Wangarci respiting the bvook of land near the Poroti, culmina-ed this morning in fatal fightine. Mr Andrew Wilton was about to commence the survey, and ha stnt a party to put up a fl ig on a hill in order to teat the threat made by the Natives. This dig was pulled down, and a battle commenced. The latest news received states thac several ot the natives have been killed and others wounded. Mr O'iadon, K.M., and two constables have gone out to the scene of the trouble. There are about seventy Natives on one side and twelve on the other. Particulars yet to hand are very meagre.
