Live stock report >of Messrs Webster and Macdonald for month" ending July 14 th, 1888 ; We held our monthly sale at Geraldine on Wednesday, July 4,1888, and;h|*fifto report upon one ot the but Mlssere* held in this district. . There was a 'very large entry of both fat and store sheep, all lines, almost without exception, being of tip-top quality. Our farmer friends may certainly congratulate themiplres upon the excellence of stock put before buyers. The result of this was seen by the large attendance, not only ef home buyers, but of outsiders, who eagerly locked to the sale, and entered into spirited competition with the local men. We yarded a total of 1350 sheep, and 33 head of cattle, and sold on account of Mr H. Hunter-Brown, 250 crossbred ewes.and welfiers (a nice ine) iu lifs; Mr W- PostlCj thwaite, ratewesat H.Bd; Mr A, Macdonald, i-back wethersatOsOd; Mr A.
