It seems Guy soon got tired of playing, and rang the bell, i -When the waiter appeared he said to the man, “ Send the proprietor to me, please.” The waiter delivered this message, and the manager, a few moments later, entered the presence of the young autocrat, who only said, “Bo kind enough to tell a chambermaid to come and put me to bed; it appears as if I had been forgotten.” morning I said to him, “Guy, whatever made you give so much trouble last night, sending for the manager? the waiter would have sent a maid to you ! ” “ Well,” rejoined Guy, “ before I came away Hugh [my elder son] told me that one night he was left alone, and he rang the bell for some milk, and they never brought it to him, so he said to me, ‘Wow, whatever you want, be sure you ask to see the proprietor, and then ybU will get properly attended
