It is stated that Germany meditates the imposition of reprisals against Franco, in consequence of the latter insulting Germans in crossing the French frontier, and are about to take stringent measures to prevent any intimacy taking place between the residents pL Alsace and Lorraine with France. :The Government intend to raise the duty on imports from Russia 50 per cent.

In compliance with the suggestion of the German official Press the' Austrian Government are sending large reinforcements to positions on the Galician frontier. ■
The Emperor and Empress drove through the city to-day, and received a tremendous ovation. Alter the marriage of Prince Henry the court will remove to Potsdam.
