An Austrian officer has been arrested in Poland charged with being suspected of having mapped all the Russian forts on the frontier.
The Russian railway authorities hav been ordered to accumulate 50,000 ton of coal,

The Duke of Cambridge, speaking at Liverpool, expressed the opinion that there was no immediate danger of war, but said that the preparations now being made by the Continental Powers made it necessary that England should take all proper precautions for the safety of the country.
May 18.
In the House of Commons this evening Sir James Fergusson repeated the denial that England had concluded a treaty with Italy, and stated that England was free to deal with any questions as they occur.
The Duke of Cambridge has ordered 25,000 Volunteers inso camp to undergo special training. Other camps will be formed in succession, until the whole of the Volunteer forces have undergone a course of continuous drill. Vienna, May 19.

A revolutionary outbreak has taken place with the object of deposing King Milan.

A conspiracy involving the army has been discovered, showing that it was intended to arrest King Milan. Many of the trusted adherents of the king have proposed to proclaim Prince Peter Karageorgovitch as King.
