Mr Thomas Dickson, Pnrnellite, has been returned for St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin, by a majority of 1877 over hil opponent, Mr Robert Sexton, Unionist* It in stated that, at an informal mealing of Irish prelates at Dublin to-day, opinions were expressed that the promulgation of the Papal Decree w»s inopportune and unjustified in the present stale of the country.
