GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. AT a Suecial Meeting of the Geraldine Couaiy Council held on WEDNESDAY, March 14t.h, 1888, at 11 o'clock a.m., ihe following SPECIAL ORDER was made :•—" Thut the Council dn now STRIKE a SPECIAL RAIE in accordance with the provis'ons of ' The Local Bodies Loans Act 1886' of (one-third of a peuny) in the £ (pound) on all Rateable Property in the Woodbury Water-Supply District, for the purpose of providing the interest upon a loan of £SOO raised by the Geraldine County Council under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies A.ct 1886 and the Amendment Act 1887. The said Rate to be an ANNUAL RECURRING RATE for each year, commencing from the Ist of January and ending the 31st of December, and to be payable annually in ONE SUM on the Ist day of MAY in each year (for a period of twenty-six years) until the said Loan be paid off. The first paymtnt to be made on the FIRST DAY of MAY, 1889."
