Thu funeral of the late Emperor took place to-Jay, The weather was bleak aucl cheerless,but an immense crowo assembled at the dooisof the Cathedral. Tee whole length of the route was draped in black and lined by infantry four deep. Tne decoration of the st/eetsVcspccia ly Unlcr den Linden, was most elaborate, foiming a pleasing spectacle. The service in the Cathedra' before the procession was most solemn and impressive. At the conclusion the coffin containing the remains of the late Emperor was placed on a funeral car, and the cortege proceeded a'ong Unter den Linden towards the Bradeuburg gate to the Royal Mausoleum at Ou*r ottenburg. The road-way was strewn with leaves and wreaths, and even the sound of the horses’ Hoofs was inaudib'e. The Emperor and the Em' Victoria, the Dowager Empress, femee Bismarck and Count Von Moltke did net a'tend the funeral owing to illness, but the Emperor and Empress Victoria watched the procession as it passed the palace of the late Emperor, and they were observed lo be weeping bi'torly. Prince William followed as chief mourner, accompanied by foreign royalties, including the Prince of Wales and Prince Albert Victor of England, The cofin was covered with the banner of the empire, and the late Emperors charger was led behind the c*r. Afier the funeral service was concluded at the mausoleum, a blessing was pronounced, and the artillery fired a salute. Memorial services were held in all the capitals of the empire out of respect for the memory of Kaiser Wilhelm.

The Kings of the Belgians, Saxony, and Roumania, the Grand Duke of Baden, Prince of Wales. Princs Albert Victor, Duke of Cambridge, the Czarewitoh, and the Crown Princes of Austria, Italy, and Sweden ware present at the Empvror’s funeral. Many German societies, beaded ty banners and other emblems, wore also present. The Emperor, accompanied by his daughter, after witnessing the procession from the proceeded to I he mausoleum. \
Special funeral tervices were held at Paris, St. Petersburg, Vienna, Madrid and Constantinople. The Pope tlMnked the Emperor Frederick for the assurance of religious toleration vouchsafed, in his proclamation. ! An official bulletin states that the Emperor Frederick 111. is now free from but still there is a copious secretion which causes continued coughing.

Emperor Frederick 111., who w«s to have taken the oath of allegiance yesterday, has suggested to tha Diet that they should accept a message countersigned by members in lieu of the oath, which he promises he will take when his health improves. • P March *2O.
The Emperor Frederick 111. is beitei in health, having enjoyed refreshing sleep. The cold weather, however, will not permit of the patient taking exercise. London, March 16.
An immense concourse of people was present at the funer-d services held at Windsor and St. Paul’s, Westminster, on tne death of the Emperor William.
