An enormous concourse of people visited'th e cathedral to see the remains of the Emperor William. Npar the bier is piled a mountain of wreaths which have been brought by all classes of the community. So great has been the crush of people anxious to get into the. building that the police hove been quite unable to control them, and some disorderly scenes have been enacted at the entrauce to the sacred edifice.

An elaborate service in connection with the funeral obsequies of the late. Empornr took place to-day at the Cathedral, attended by all the members of the late Emperor's family, with tho exception of the Dowager Empress Augusta, who was too ill to be present. The arrangements for the funeral of the late Emperor, which takes place tomorrow (Friday), are completed. Twelve colonels will act as pall bearers. Ihe coffin will be carried on a funeral car in great state. The procession will follow the remains of the late Emperor to the Royal mausoleum at Charlottenburg. The Emperor Frederick 111. will take part in the funeral solemnities, and will follow the remains of his father to the grave. Other members of the family, *l foreign royalties, and representatives come next, followed by Prince Bismarck (ihh German Chancellor), civil and military officers of the Empire, members of the Reichstag, and provincial delegates. The troops from selected regiments of the army will escort the procession the whole length of the route, which will be draped in black. March 16. In accordance/ with the expressed wish of the Emperor Frederick 111. the Royal visitors visited Augusta, the dowager Queen of Prussia, before paying their respects to himself. Subsequently tho dowager xisited her speechless son, and folded him in a mute embrace. London, March 13. A memorial service out of respect to the Kaiser Wilhelm is to bo held in the chapel at Windsor Castle, at which Her Majesty the Qusen will be present.
The British fleet and the several garrisons fire a funeral salute of 91 guns to-day.
