AT a Special Meeting of the Geraldine Cooaty Counoil held on WEDNESDAY, March Wb t 1888, at 11 o'clock a.m., the following SPECIAL ORDER was made:—" That the Council do now STRIKE a SPECIAL RATE in accordanoe with the previrone of ' The Local Bodiea Loans Act 1886' of Jd (one-third of a peuny) in the £ (pound) on nil Rateable Property io the Woodbury Water-Supply D strict, for the purpose of providing the interest upon a loan of £6OO raised by the Geraldine County Council under the. provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886 and the Amendment Act 1887. The said Rate to ba an ANNUAL RECURRING RATE for each year, commencing from the Ist of January and ending the 31st of December, and to be payable anDually in ONE SUM on the Ist day of MAY in each year (for a period of twenty-six years) until the said Loan be paid off. The first payment to be made on the FIRST DAY of MAY, 1889." Thin Special Order is to take effect on the FIRST DAY of MAY, 1888, and will be confirmed at a meeting of the Geraldino County Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, 11th April, 1888. mrl7
