Beid and Gray’s premises in Thames street, Oamaru, were destroyed by fire about 3 o’clock yesterday morning. Nothing wse saved from the implement works, and the loss is estimated at between £4OOO and £SOOO. There was a serious fire at Balolnthaon Tuesday night, which destroyed MoKensie’i store and the Athenaeum, and seriously damaced the Grown Hotel and Mr Hutchins' (chernis 1 ) shop. The insurances amount to over £7OOO.
