Mondell and Co, report sates for the week ending Saturday 10th March, 1888, 83 follows : At the Geraldine monthly stock sa'e on Wedoeaday, there ; was an average entry ol stock yarded, principally stores, which inet with a really mood market as the quotations will show. The entry con•feted of 2098 sheep, 92 head of cattle, S 3 pigs. Prices realised were gke e p For crossbred 2 tooth sheep, 6s 9d to 7s 6d ; undersized 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 5s ; aged crossbred ewes, 2s lOd to 6i 5 crossbred lambs, 3s 10. i ; cull merino ewes, is, Is 2d to la lid. Cattle—Cows, springing and in forward condition, £3 10s to €4; dry cows, £1 Ids to £2 2s ; forward store steers, £3 12s fid 2-year-old steers and heifers, £l.lOB to £2 j yearlings, £1 Is to £i 5s ; ogives, l^s.
