SALE OF STOCK.

Mr K., F. Grav reports that he held a special sale of cattle and sheep at the Temuka pound yards on Friday last, 10th instant. There was a large entry of stock, and he succeeded m quitting 40 head of yearlings at dUs, 19 head 3-year-olds at £3 15s, and 6 head at £4 10s. The sale was well attended, hut owing to the continued drought, and the pasture falling oft, buyers values did not come up to vendors’ reserves. All the pigs were withdrawn, the price offered being much below vendors value,
