The Lusitania has arrived at Albany. She brings European news to December 23rd. The following is a summary ; The London Times’ Vienna correspondent says that frequent alarms convulsed the Bourse to such an extent that it became*a perfect rout. Securities of fll kinds were recklessly thrown on the market, and it is calculated that 80,000,000 florins were lost in two days. The panic was subsiding when the latest accounts left home.
Military opinion unanimously declares that Auntro-Hangary must strike the first blow if Russ’a persists in her war preparations.
Anbertin, the man who, on the 9th December last, attempted to assassinate M. Ferry, is now a raving maniac.
It is announced that Sarah Beruhardt’s son, Maurice, is betrothed to Princess Pablonowski, grand.danghter of Lucien Bonaparte.
