Matilda Hansen was committed for trial at Christchurch yesterday for stealing £l2 from J. D. Kirk.
At the District Oonrt, Palmerston North, yesterday, a debtor named Christian Hansen was sentenced to two months for fraudulent bankruptcy.
The Secretary of the Wellington Cricket Association has received a letter from Melbourne stating that it will be impossible for Vernon's Cricket team to visit New Zealand.
