WEST COAST STOCK SALE. Geeymouth, Jan. 9. At the cattle sale this afternoon 24 head local and 54 head Wanganui were submitted. Ihe supply was much in excess of the demand, and 5 bead were left 'unsold, The top price for Wanganui bullocks was £8 10s, and local averaged £6 15e. Prices per 1001 b Wanganui, 17s 6d to 19s; local, 20s, No fat sheep in market. Pigs from 34s to 235. Good demand. ENGLISH MARKETS. Loudon, Jan. 8. The wheat market is weak. Continental sorts are steady, and American have an upward tendency. Coast cargoes are all disposed of. New Zealand 5 per cents, are quoted at 104 ; inscribed stock 98£. Tin, £157 10s. Australian copper, £B3 ; Chilian copper, £BS 10s. Galvanised iron, £l4 10s to £ls; Scotch pig iron £49. New Zealand wheat 34s 6d. Australian tallow, mutton, 25s 6d ; beef, 245. Beet sugar, 16s,
