The appeal ot Mr Wilfred Blunt against the sentence of twe months, imposed on him for taking pitrt in a National meeting was. heard at Pbrtumna, County Galway, and adjourned, Grcat.crnwds were present in the town, and m.uch ; excitement During the hearing a. force; of. military surrounded the Court. , At the Killarney Criminal Sessions there were no oases set down for hearing > Jan. 4.
At a meeting of thirty dissenting clergymen at Cardiff; a protest was made against the Government oppression. ®f Ireland.
