The 0.8. Waverly, on trying to come into the met at Patea on Thursday afternoon, took ground slightly, and losing steerage way, the eea caught her broadside and put her ashore. She is now high and dry, and no damage done. Cargo is being landed, and it is hoped the vessel will be floated oft uninjured. She is laying on a sandy beach.
