AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, Nov. 28. Messrs Dalgety and Co. held their weekly sale in their rooms to-day, when 2400 bales were submitted. There whs a Urge attendance of buyers, and competition was animated. Prices for inferior and laulty wools were somewhat weaker, being in sympathy with the reports of the London sales. Superior greasy merinos realised 10J per lb ; medium to good, to B|d ; inferior, to 6d ; medium to goon crossbred, B|d ; superfine merino lambswool, 10|1 ; combing lambswool, lOd; washed merino, Is 4d ; and scoured, la bales were Bold. Nov. 29. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, of New Zealand, reports on the local grain market as follows : Shipping wheat is firm at 3s 8d to 3s 9d per bushel. Quotations for bariey are nominally 4t to 5s per bushel. N< w Zealand feed oats meet with a fair demand at 2s 9d to 2s lid per bushel. Milling sorts remain stealy at 2s ICM to Bs. New Zealand oats under bond are quoted at 2s to 2s Id per bushel, ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Nov. 28. Brenda tuffs and tallow are without quotable change, At the w«oi saies to-day 9800 bales wi-re catalogued. Prices remained steady.
