Messrs Dalgety Co., Limited, held their usual weekly wool Bale to-day, when 1700 bales were offered by auction, of which 1300 were sold. There was a large attendance, and competition was very briefc. Prices were fully maintained. The catalogue oompriaed no superior wools, but light conditioned descriptions. Creasy merino realised 9|l; good quality merino, to B|d ; interior ditto, 6d to 7d; crossbred, 9|d; scoured pieces, hare been disposed of up to date.
