Duggsn, £39; John Mulvihill £34 (accepted). CHABItAILB AID DISPUTM. ' A letter was read from the Ternuka Ittoad Board, forwarding a copy of a fMolntion passed by that Board, deprecating the attimpt to separata the vVaimate County from the Charitable Aid District of South Canterbury, and requesting the co-operation of the Board in protesting against the proposed alteration. Propesed by Mr Denniitoun, seconded by Mr Thew, and carriid--" That the Board endorse the resolution of the Te- i muka Road Board, and forward a copy of , it to the Colonial Secretary." , MISCELLANEOUS. A letter was received from Mr G. J. , Hamilton, of Clayton, asking that the fo>jd in the North Opuha be improved.— The Oreraterto attend to it. ißesolved—"That application be again I made to the Geraldine County Council to i have a culvert placed in the water-race i across the road at Tripp's cutting."
