London, Not. 15. Tha Conservative papers accuse Mr Gladstone of inciting the populace to resist the police. Some of the rioters arrested were unable to pay the fines imposed, and were, in default, sentenced to terms of imprisonment varying from one to two months. The Pall Mall Gazette denounces Mr Gladstone’s lack of sympathy with the metings being held in Trafalgar Square. In anticipation of renewed rioting on Sunday next, an official announcement has been made that the magistrates throughout London will be in attendance to-morrow ( Thursday), Friday and Saturday, to swear in citizens as special constables. The Radical leaders have resolved to hold next Sunday’s demonstration in Hyde Park instead of m Trafalgar Square, and await the decision of the legality of forbidding assemblages in the latter place before resuming meetings there. Messrs Lahouchare and Bradlaugh oppose a renewal of the Trafalgar Square meetings, but the extremists persist in holding another meeting on Sunday. The anarchist section threaten to use bombs, and to organise cavalry to ride down the police. The authorities intend to swear in 20,000 special constables.
