TIMARU RACES. On Thursday the Spring Meeting of the South Canterbury Jockey Club was conceded. The day was fine, and but for an accident in the first race (when the rider of Tenakoe—Robertson—was thrown at the second hurdle, and bo severely hurt that he had to be removed to the hospital) everything passed off plensartly.
