TIMA.RU. Mr Moss Jonas reports as follows : p easant Point sale—The monthly ssle should have taken place on Monday, the 3rd inst., but owing to the heavy and continuous downpour of rain on that and the day previous, no slock could be brought in to I lie yards. The sale in consequence was postponed to Monday, the 10th. On that day the weather was very inclement, consequently there was but a small entry. Sheepskins The continuous wet weather before the fortnightly sale on the sth inst., as well as depressing nows from London, caused a fall in values of from 9d to 1 a per skin. Kreglmjnr, of Antwerp, report to him as follows About 800 carcases and 1000 legs of mutton have boon sold so far of the quantity stored with ns. This is Comparativsly satisfactory, considering the difficulty the introduction of this meat has mat with at the beginning in England, when it proved to bs quite unsaleable. It is contemplated to erect shops with freeing engines in the capital of Belgium, i.e., P>ru«ael«, but of course all this requires time. A few months may pa*s before the organisation for sale will be complete.
