OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
fo THB EDITOR. Sir,—Will you kindly inform me, through the columns of your valuable paper, whether a member of any Educational Board has power to visit a public school uninvited ? Also, Whether a teacher (master or mistress) would exceed his or her doty by refusing to admit such a visitor should he present himself requesting to visit such school unsolicited ?—I am, etc., ItNATIUS. October 12,1887. £We are not aware of any law on the subject, but it seems to us consistent with common sense that a member of the Education Board should have the right to enter a school at any convenient hour of the day, We think s teacher would be illadvlsed in refusing to allow him to enter.— T*a Editor.]
