It is reported from Morocco that the Sultan is dead, and that international troub'es are expected in consequence. Spain is making military preparations to protect her interests in Morocco, and England and the other European Powers are sending war vessels to that country to protect their subjects. Oct. 9.
It is thought that the language used by Signor Crispi will probably check French aspirations for Morocco. The semi-official North German Gazette to-day, in an article upon the recent interview between Prince Bismarck and Signor Orispi, atataa that, the result of the meeting has been that Italy and Germany, in conjunction with Austria, have resolved to do their utmost to prevent a European war, and it necessary will act together to avert the same, Rome, Oct. 8. Signor Crispi, lha Premier, has returned to this city.
