Melbourne. Sept. 21. Thi schooner Awaroa arrived this morning, having on board eight of the crew of the Dairy Castle, which was wrecked off Auckland Island whilst on her voyage from Geelong to Falmoulh. The vessel struck on Knderby Island ontha2lst March. Fifteen men were drowned, including the captain and officers. Ihe survivors reached the Government depot at Fortrose after three weeks' terrible privation*, and were taken from thence on the 20th August by the Awaroa. The inquest into the death of Miss Swain resulted in a verdict of " Found drown«d, the evidence being insufficient to show bow." The jury strongly censured the unmanly conduct of Captain Moore and Warder Flynn. Sept. 22. Arrived, this morning-—Waihora, b.b., from Wellington. Rydney, Sept. 20. The Address-in-Keply to the Governor's Speech was agreed lo in the Legislative Assembly last night without a divuion. Arrived—Hauroto, from Wellington. Sailed, from Newcastle—Tekapo, for for New Zealand; Sept. 22. Arrived— from Auckland. The sculling match between Beach and Oanlan will t»ke place on the Nepean River in November. Brisbane, Sept. 21. Twelve escaped convicts from New Ca'edonia have been arrested and imprisoned here until thoy can be banded over to the French authorities.
