A DAKOTA WEDDING.

A few weeks since there was a fashionable wedding in Eargo., Dakota, to which the elite of the surrounding region were bidden. As the father of I the bride was a wealthy brewer and I distiller, and was famous the territory over for his freehanded hospitality, all who were not bedridden accepted the invitation, and were present. Expectancy and thirst ran high, and were properly satisfied at frequent intervals, and there was a great row, when seven of those present were shot, but the bride and groom escaped. A coroner's jury, composed of six survivors, decided that the seven victims came to their death'by "a visitation from Providence," that 'being the general head under which all pistol shot wounds are grouped out there. Among the presents, all of which were described as exquisite, were the following:— Prom groom to bride, one bull pup, one yellow dog, one pair of water spaniels, and a njeerschaura pipe with tobacco; from bride to groom, one'good shot-gun, one bowie-knife, a rifle, and three dogs; from parents to bride, one pair of setter pups, a game rooster, and a barrel of the best Dakota rye; from parents of bridegroom, one fiddle, one banjo, one spotted pup, and 61b of tobacco; from the Shotgun Club, of which the young couple were members, one English mastiff and a pair of silvermounted pistols.
