London, Aug. 10. The Government have decided to proclaim the National League under the Crimes Act after supply has been granted. The House of Lords are modifying th« amendments made by the Commons to the Irish Land Bill, Aug. 13. Id the House of Commons to-day, a, debate took place on an amendment in the Irish Laud Bill inserted in the House of Lords at the instance of the Government relative to the judicial rents clause being amended by changes in the prices to be paid. Mr Parnell denounced the amendment as one which destroyed half the benefits of the Bill. Sir Vernon Harcourt and Mr Chamberlain opposed the amendment, and Lord Hartington advised that the debate he adjourned till Thursday next, to which course Mr Smith, on behalf of the Government, assented.
