IRISH AFFAIRS.
London, July 22. In the House of Commons last night, Mr Balfour, Chief Secretary for Ireland, announced that the Government had decided to amend the Irish Land Bill by admitting revision of the judicial rents, and dropping the bankruptcy clauses. Mr Parnell expressed satisfaction with the changes, as the Bill thereby would contributelargely to alleviate the troubles ic Ireland. The National Press of Ireland defy the Imperial Government to suppress the Land League or enforce the Crimes Bill. July 24. Thirty-one Counties in Ireland have been proclaimed under the Crimes Act.
