The Porte sent a circular note to the Great Powers relating to the election of Prince Ferdinand to the throne of Bulgaria, asking their advice as to the course to be pursued. London, July 14,
It is understood that the Sultan approves of Prince Ferdinand’s election, and has formally requested the Powers to acquiesce. The Sobranje has refused to accept the resignation of the Regency.
