London, June 30. In the House of Commons this afternoon, Mr Smith, replying to a- question, stated that Her Majesty’s Government believe the Sultan will ratify the Anglo-Turkish Convention regarding Egypt. July 1. It is announced that the Porte has applied for a further delay in the ratification of the Egyptian Convention, Rome, July 1, In speaking in Parliament to-day, Signor Crispi, Minister for the Interior, stated that a complete understanding exist* between Italy and England upon all questions affecting the latter, and that the interests of Italy and England in Egypt were in common, >
