Sii,—ln view of the election people would do well to see that their names ur* on the doctoral roll of the district in which they are entitled to vo'e. In Toniuka Mr Wills ia the proper authority to apply to for enrolment, but unfortunately for settlers in Geraldine there has been no person appointed.for that district, snd ■all the cUims have to be sent to Temuka. This ia causing a good deal of iuconvenience, snd already agreat many complaints have been made of the trouble it involves. [Our correspondent it laboring under an erroneous impression. Mr C. ,E. Shejratt has always acted as Deputy-Registrar , at Geraldine, and we,have never beam that his appointment has been cancelled. Persona can find forms at the office of this paper in Geraldine and register their votes there if they desire.— The Editor].
