Queen's Jubilee. —A meeting of the Procassion Committee was held last evening, at which Measra Twomey, Gaze, J. T. M, Hay hurst, Henry, Levees, Lawson, Ooira, and Findlay were present. On the motion of Mr Hayhurst, seconded by Mr Gaze, Mr Twomey took the chair. It was decided that the procession should start from the Volunteer Hall, march along the Main street as far as Ewen Road, then turn down to Dyson’s crossing and along the Arowhenua North Town Belt as far as Wilkin Street, then along Wilkin Street to High Street, and along the latter street to the park gate. The order of the procession was arranged as followsl. John Bull, Paddy, and Sandy. 2. Band. 3. Volunteers and Cadets. 4. Children. 5. Representatives of Local Bodies. 6. Fire Brigade. 7. Friendly Societies. 8, Fife snd Drum Band. 9. Trades and Agriculture. 10. Fife and Drum Band No. 2. 11. General public. Messrs Grze, Findlay, Levens, snd Coira were appointed a sub-Oommittee to arrange for representative costumes, and report at next inci ting. Mr John Lawson was appointed to canvass the tradespeople as to whether they would take part in the procession, and Mr Henry to look after flag*. The meeting then adjourned to next Thursday evening.
