London, May 25. Considerable sensation was caused in Turkey by the discovery of a plot to depose tbe Sultan and place his nephew on tbe throne. The conspiracy i* widespread amongst the officials of tbe State, but the authorities have succeeded in frustrating the conspirators. Tbe plot is attributed mainly to Russian influence. Several Russians who w> o* active participators, and a large number of Turkish officers bate been arrested Osman Pasha and a number of prominent Sheikhs and palace favorites have been banished for complicity.
