OUR VOLUNTEERS.
GERALDINE RIFLES. Y This company went into camp on Friday evening on the same site ae the camp Urea pitched last year. About 30 moo, including the band, went under canvas. During the evening the men were put through some smart company drill by Qaptain Pearpeiut and Lieutenant# Ward and! McKenzie. They w ere also exercised fpr about three quartern of an hour at guard mounting duty. , Several more of the members joined the camp on Saturday evening. The band, under the leadership of Bandmaster T. Sherratt, made things enjoyable by playing various tunes at intervals. Quite a number of persons visited the camp on Saturday and Sunday. A Chuich Parade of the corps was held on Sunday. About thin? members, including the officers and baud, marched to the Episcopalian Church, service was conducted by Mr H. W. Moore, who read an appropriate sermon founded on Ephesians vi., 11. The men' are' kepc busy at drill both morning end evening, and dming the day go about their respective occupations. The camping set ms to be very popular among, the corps the men evidently enjoying it very much.
