Sofia, March 6. The sentence of death tor rebellion teas to-day carried out at Rustcbuk in the cages of Major Onzouroff, Ponoff, one captain, and four lieutenants of the Bulgarian army, and two civilians, all of whom were shot. Sentence of imprisonment for fifteen years was passed on four lieutenantß and two civilians. Bolmann, a Russian, who was found guilty of participation in the rising and sentenced to death, has been delivered over to the Russian Consul at Rustchdk. Sentence wsa deferred in the case of Filoff, who took part in the rebellion, and was among those condemned to death. Later. The German diplomatic agent at Rustcbuk (on behalf of the Russian Government) demanded the release of the six prisoners who were sentenced to death for participation in the revolt at Rustcbuk, alleging t»*y were Raßsian subjects, because they were famished with Russian passports. Among those whose release was demanded were Colonel Filoff and Major Onzouroff. London, March 6.

Two hundred insurgents altogether were killed and wounded in the risings at Rustcbuk and Silistria.

The Standard publishes a statement to the effect that the Bulgarian Government has secured proof that the ServoRussian Minister at Bucharest was at the head of the conspiracies in Rustchuk and Silistria.

Fourteen Russians were killed in the rising at Rustchuk. The Apponeji is urging Count Kalnoky not to wait to be attacked if Russia is preparing to invade a State contiguous to the monarchy. The Fremdenblatt insists thit the mission of the Bulgarian Regency is now fulfilled, and urges it to resign. March 8.

General Broissard Vcn Schellendorf, Prussian Minister of War, referring to the gravity of the future, urged an unanimous vote in favor of the increase of the army for a period of seven years. A statement published by the semiofficial Russian Press respecting the execution of the conspirators who participated in the recent revolt at Rustchuk induces the belief that Connt Kalnokj's opposition to Russian designs is insincere.

Berlin, March 7.

A Bill providing for the increase of the German army has been introduced into the Reichstag. St. Peterbsurg, March 7.

The Moscow Gazette to-day publishes articles,in which indignation is expressed at the execution of the priioners implicated in the Rustchuk revolt being carried out with the approval of Europe. It would not be forgotten that these men fell a sacrifice to their devotion to Russia. Their deaths would produce events which would set history in motion.
