The haivest being now in full swing, and the low prices ruling for all kinds of stock, has the effect of keeping the market bare, but I hope sith the showers we are now getting, and with improved pastures and better prices, that I shall be able to make a better report n«xt week. 1 sold 87 fat wethers at 7s ;13 do-at 6?; 28 crossbred ewes at 2s 5d ; 50 lambs *t 2s sd; and privately during the week 180 fat sheep at 6a 6d, and 300 hoggets at 3s lOd. Cattle—The market is well supplied with fat c ittle, in fact I may say that they are plentiful at up to my quotations of last week. At the Washdyke yards the supply was an average one, and a few found purchasers dt market rates, but the majority of the entry was turned out unsold.
