At; the Burnside Yards on Wednesday the following business was transacted ; lss Fat Cattle—2B3 head came to hand. Prices again suffered a decline of from 10s ,to 20s per bead. As regards quality, the cdule; forward were for the most part only i medium. Best bullocks brought from £7 to £9; medium, £5 10b„ to £6 ,10s | 'best oowe, fr >m £5 to £6 10s ; medium do, from £3 5s to £4l2s 6d,— Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. sold for MV A. Grant (Temuka), 6 bullocks at from- £6 15s to £7 5a ; for Messrs M’Goverin and Hardy (Waimata), 8 heifers at from £4 15s to £s—Messrs Donald Reid and Co. sold for Messrs M’Goverin and Hardy (The Book, Waimate), 8 heifers from £5 to £5 Bs; for Mr Andrew Grant (Temuka), 6 bullocks at £7 2s 6d to £7 7s 6d. Fat Sheep—A moderate supply came forward, 2390 being penned, including about 660 merinos. There was a further fall in prices, and rates obtaiftad were
