OTIOE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the POLL of the Ratepayers of the Rangitata and Orari Water Supply District taken on the Twentieth day of January, 1887, on the proposal of the Geraldine County Council to raise the sum of £2500, by way of Loan, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1886," for the purpose of constructing Irrigation Works within that part of the Geraldine-County known as the Rangitata and Orari Water Supply District, resulted as follows : Votes. None And as a majority in number of the ratepayers voted in favor of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to more than one half of the number of votes which can be exercised by the whole number of ratepayers I hereby declare the said? proposal to be carried.
